Hi I'm Erin
I understand how deeply stress impacts the body, not just clinically, but personally from working as a professional makeup artist on demanding, fast-paced film sets.
My Healing Journey
My journey into the healing benefits of Craniosacral Therapy (CST), massage and holistic nutrition began during my 25-year career as a makeup artist in the film industry. The physical demands of my work, combined with a car accident, took a toll on my body which led to chronic neck and lower back pain.
When I was advised to undergo back surgery, fear pushed me to seek alternative options. Through the care of skilled bodyworkers, I experienced profound healing with Craniosacral Therapy. CST not only helped heal my spine, it changed my relationship with my body, stress, and overall well-being.
Why I Studied Craniosacral Therapy
That experience inspired me to study Craniosacral Therapy myself. I was drawn to its gentle yet powerful ability to support the nervous system and allow the body to self-correct. Learning CST gave me a deeper understanding of how stress, injury, and tension are held in the body and how healing can happen when the system feels safe enough to soften.
How Nutrition Became Part of My Work
My interest in nutrition also began while working on film sets. Long days, often 15 to 17 hours , were fueled by convenience foods provided on set. Over time, I noticed how my food choices affected my energy, inflammation, and overall health. This curiosity led me to become a Certified Holistic Nutritionist, where I learned about food sensitivities, digestion, and gentle cleansing. During a 28-day digestive cleanse, my eczema cleared, a powerful reminder of the body’s ability to heal when given the right support.
My Approach Today
Today, my work integrates Craniosacral Therapy, therapeutic massage, and nutritional guidance to support pain relief, stress reduction, and long-term resilience. I believe healing happens through small, mindful changes and through listening to the body rather than pushing through discomfort.
A Little More About Me
In 2022, I closed the chapter on my film career to fully dedicate myself to my CranioSacral Therapy practice full-time. My studio is located in Northern California, in the sweet town of Chico. Outside the studio, I love spending time in nature with my husband, he is also a massage therapist, and pup. Moving my body through yoga, hula hooping, creating art, and enjoying nourishing food keep me grounded. I continue to work in makeup and offer makeup lessons in my studio, creativity remains an important part of my life and balance.
